Housed in the 15th-century Palazzo Gurisatti, Friuli Film Library is a true modern wonder-room containing DVDs, photographs, books, brochures and much more dedicated to the seventh art. The town's relationship with cinema does not end at Palazzo Gurisatti though: just outside the town centre are the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Film Archives which can hold up to 50,000 films.
TRIVIA-before becoming one of the most important archives in Italy, the Film Library was originally founded as a film club after the 1976 earthquake.
